Maple Joe® maple syrup is the result of the expertise of our partnership maple syrup producers. They are over 300 working with us!
We work with a packaging site that is in the process of offsetting its carbon footprint by supporting reforestation programmes in North America.
For example, in 2021, the site supported Carbone Boréal, the Arbre de l’Intercoopération and Carbone Scol’Ere (a bonus to support educational programmes).
Finally, to ensure the long-term future of the industry, our partner maple syrup producers follow the standards and good practices set by the Fédération des Producteurs et Productrices acéricoles du Québec (PPAQ).
The vast majority (80%) of my Maple Joe® maple syrup is harvested less than 80km from the certified carbon-neutral bottling site. It is located in the heart of maple groves in the Chaudière Appalaches region and runs on biomass energy, a certified carbon-neutral energy source using FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified renewable wood pellets.
The site also has a host of intelligent systems: water saving, lights, a white roof to reduce heat, a high-performance insulation system, etc.
I also use fully recyclable packaging on all Maple Joe® goods.
